Environmental & Social Impact Studies

We provide independent and authoritative Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies (ESIAs) according to international standards and the provisions of the Environmental Management & Coordination Act (EMCA) 1999, th – Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations, 2003 and applicable laws and regulations as administered b the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). In terms of ESIAs, we not only carry out the studies but folio through with the regulator to ensure speedy review and issuance of ESIA license to our clients.

Occupational Risk Management

We conduct comprehensive risk assessments that enable clients to comply with the provisions of section 6 (sub-sections 3 & 4) of OSHA 2007. The assessment involves a critical review of all operations (routine and non-routine), identification of occupational safety and health hazards and the people at risk, evaluating of the significance of risks in relation to the safety and health of the worker and the environment, determining the adequacy of existing risk controls and/or need for further risk reduction measures. We subsequently prepare a detailed risk register that the client then uses to manage identified significant AS on a priority basis.

Splendour Provides statutory compliance fire safety audits in fulfillment of the requirements of The Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007 and The Factories and Other Places of Work (Fire Risk Reduction) Rules, Legal Notice No. 59 of 2007. Following these audits, we compile detailed safety management plans to assist clients with effective implementation of effective risk reduction measures that address key audit findings.

Occupational Safety & Health and Environmental Trainings

Splendour EHS Consultants Limited is registered as a Safety and Health Trainer (OSH/BT/135) and Fire Safety Trainer (OSH/ST/103) by the Directorate of Occupational Safety and Health Services (DOSHS). We also partner with Falcon Environs Co. Ltd (OSH/FT/076) in the facilitation of Occupational First Aid Training.

Plant Inspections

We partner with relevant DOSHS Approved persons to offer inspection services for Lifting equipment and pressure vessels as required by OSHA, 2007.
